Phnom Pehn was founded by a woman named Pehn.

The major religion is Theravada Buddhism.

Cambodia used to be colonized by the French.

Hinduism was a major influence on the design of all the ruins and tourist sites in Cambodia.

Tuol Sleng was not always known by that name.

And those are all the facts I could bother to remember right now. Excuse my spelling. Somewhat sick to bother spell checking.

Cambodia's jungles are slowly dying because of illegal loggers trying to make a little money.

There are real-life pirates on the Mekong river.

Yeah I actually heard about that, I think my mom told me there called Jou Samoot something like that O_O
