Abstinence Only Classes

Postby T on Thu Jun 19, 2008 6:10 pm

How do you feel about the possibility of your government using (tax) money to teach kids abstinence only classes?

I say if people want their kids to practice abstinence, they should teach this themselves. Unlike abstinence only, sex ed only provides information-it's not trying to force a different "lifestyle" on others.

The rates of STIs are higher than ever and its a shame that some "adults" want to jeopardize young people's health by keeping much needed information away from them.
